WELCOME TO N.A.T.I.V.E COOPERATIVE

Bringing "The 3rd World" interview into view. As an Incorporated Charitable 501 C3 Non-Profit Humanitarian Outreach Ministry based in Florida with offices in Nicaragua we are organizing small batch Nicaraguan farmers into a collective. The primary goal is to promote a fair wage and improve infrastructure. Secondly, provide total product sell through of the small batch farmers annual harvest. Thirdly, to procure "articles of distinction" described as commodities and sell those gourmet products into the world on behalf of thousands of small batch farmers.
Prior to our involvement many of the small batch farmers were neglected by coffee bean brokers because of the minuscule size of their crops. It was so dire that the small batch farmers could not sell through their entire harvest and regrettably had to sell it at a loss to a wholesaler that would blow into town at the end of season offering pennies on the dollar for this precious commodity. In some cases the small batch farmer would throw away their remaining inventory to make room for the upcoming year‘s crop. In either case the small batch farmers lost time, resources and money. In fact, most adolescent villagers do not see farming as a viable way to earn a living and often abandon the small batch farms for something “better" in the surrounding cities thus leaving the elders to operate the farms on their own.

As NATIVE we’ve had a charitable presence in Nicaragua since 2006. We have had many successful mission trips over the past 17 years resulting in helping both small batch farmers and indigenous people. Our charitable works and continued investment of resources into Nicaragua and for it’s people have earned NATIVE credibility and created a indelible bond that has enabled our Ministry to overcome barriers set by previous charitable organizations that over promised and under delivered leaving most small batch farmers disinterested in conducting business with outsiders. At Native Global Ministry we embrace and understand the culture in Nicaragua. I have traveled to remote parts of Nicaragua and spent time in the jungles getting to know the people and observing their way of life. Having had first hand experience with the small batch farms in remote areas I realized that I have the business acumen to assist the small batch farmers of Nicaragua. To help these farmers continue growing excellent coffee beans and do it profitably they need to be relieved of the burden of maintaining logistics, marketing and sales.
